Incident 18 August 2008

A team member in the area responded to police notification of drifting boat off Ferry Point Dingwall reported by a member of the public.

After having spoken to the first informant a search was instigated but the small rowing boat believed to have come adrift from moorings, was not found.

Satisfied that no persons had been on board the search was eventually discontinued.
