Incident 28 September 2008

The team was alerted to search for a small blue rowing boat with one POB powered by a Seagull outboard engine, overdue from its fishing trip off Eathie on the Black Isle.

Following location of its launching trailer at Chanonry Point it was eventually spotted in difficulty adjacent to the Craigmee buoy off Fort George.

Invergordon L/B was launched and eventually escorted the boat safely to Chanonry Point where the awaiting team members subsequently assisted with its recovery onto the beach.
